OUR VISION AND MISSION
We are dedicated to empowering our students to become competent, caring and healthy
individuals, who are life-long learners
able to gather, analyze, and use information, solve
problems, work cooperatively, think creatively, initiate action and participate in a

Our vision includes a community where everyone is a learner and a teacher, and "school" is
everywhere and anywhere:
a building, pond, local business, museum, or home. The activities of
the school and community intertwine and become mutually
beneficial and the definition or role of
teacher and learner are broad and interchangeable. Parent involvement in their child's education
is encouraged both at home and school. Educational decisions at Schnell School are driven by
