After School Enrichment Classes!
After school enrichment activities strengthen student’s self-esteem by exposing them to experiences and activities beyond regular curriculum.
Registration for Fall 2024 classes begins Monday, August, 26th

PRE-REGISTRATION NOT AVAILABLE
Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Early
registration is recommended. Registration forms are available here to print as well as in the school office.
CREATIVE DANCE
GRADES TK-1
In this fun and lively after school enrichment class, students will explore the art of dance in a playful, stimulating and supportive environment. Children will use props such as rhythm sticks, scarves and bean bags to develop creative movement and artistic expression while enjoying energizing physical activity.
When: Class begins Tuesday, October 1st from 3:00-4:00p.m.
How Long: Class is every Tuesday for six weeks. Dates are: 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5

NEWSPAPER CLUB
GRADES 4-5
Learning to communicate, write articles, take great photos and work with deadlines is what the Sierra School Dragon’s Newspaper Club is all about! Along with building confidence and teamwork, students will increase their imaginations and parents will enjoy a valuable record of their children’s creative talents for years to come.
When: Class begins Wednesday, October 2 from 3:00-4:00p.m.
How Long: Class is every Wednesday for six weeks. Dates are: 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6

DRAMA CLUB
GRADES 3-5
Self-expression, creativity and fun – that’s what this popular after school enrichment class is all about! Learning how to act and preparing for a performance will encourage your child to be imaginative and spontaneous while in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
When: Class begins Thursday, October 3rd from 3:00-4:00p.m.
How Long: Class is every Thursday for six weeks. Dates are: 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, (10/31 – SKIP), 11/7, 11/14

LEARN HOW TO PLAY THE GUITAR
GRADES 3-5
Guitars are a fun and exciting instrument – and studies have shown that children who are involved in music are more successful in school due to the development of enhanced concentration, self-confidence and patience. In this popular after school enrichment class, your child will be encouraged to express their own individuality in a creative and supportive environment.
When: Class begins Thursday, October 3rd from 3:00-4:00p.m.
How Long: Class is every Thursday for six weeks. Dates are: 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, (10/31 – SKIP), 11/7, 11/14
