KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
Placerville Union School District announces that Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten Registration begins Monday, February 1, 2021, for the 2021-2022 school year. If your child will be five years of age on or before September 1, 2021 you may register them for Kindergarten. Children who will turn five years old between the months of September 2 thru December 2, 2021 will be registered into Transitional Kindergarten.
Our Aeries Online Registration Portal will be live Monday, January 25, 2021, for families to begin the pre-enrollment process. If you have the ability, we highly suggest beginning the process this way. Not only will this save time, you will have the option to upload the required paperwork: Your child's birth certificate, current immunization record and proof of residency. If you do not have those documents in a format to upload, you will simply bring them to the District Office to complete your child's registration, in-person, on or after February 1, 2021.
This year will look a little different, as we continue to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. Things to note, if coming in-person on February 1, 2021.
- Registration will begin at 9am.
- Masks are required when in the District Office or the Boardroom.
- One family at a time will be allowed in the District Office: Families waiting outside should maintain social distancing.
- A few computers will be set up and available in the Boardroom for families to use, if computer/internet access is not available prior to registration day. Paper packet will also be available, if needed.
As always, school site preference will be on a first come-first served basis and determined by the District Office, once your child's registration is complete. Should you need additional information regarding registration, please call the District Office at 530-622-7216 ext. 2200 or 2238.
