El Dorado County Public Health – providing healthy food education through after school enrichment classes

Dental Van – onsite visits for our students; attends yearly backpack distribution event at Schnell

Kiwanis – Distribution of Latino Food Baskets yearly

Placer Food Bank – provides monthly delivery of snacks for needy students to our district and other food when needed

Federated Church – provides snacks, Walmart gift cards and special requests for MV students

Shakespeare Club – provides donations when needed, helps with organization of PUSD Clothing Closet

Beta Sigma Phi Sorority of Placerville - provides food, shoes and clothing when needed

El Dorado Arts and Culture – Emailed members to help PUSD receive free guitars for after school enrichment; Cameron Park Community Foundation donated, as well as Zsu Zsu Illes, local horse training expert

Placerville Sheriff – Officer Maciel provides PUSD families meats in the holiday, bicycles for kids; Deputy Stockland - backpacks at first of year

Hands 4 Hope (youth led community service program) – Yearly backpack program, help with Clothing Closet, food pantry, Club at Markham

New Morning Youth Shelter/Victims Advocate – safe shelter for our unaccompanied students, Markham students donate to those housed there/coordinate advocate help for families

EL Dorado Community HUBS – parent trainings, navigates families to various local resources, help with Spanish speaking parents in need

HELP House – house PUSD homeless families when an opening in duplex is available

El Dorado Community Foundation – grants, Crisis Angel Network 1 time funding to help family

Catalyst Community – local parenting classes/ Spanish parenting classes

Toys for Tots – receive toys for PUSD students for holiday & volunteering in warehouse

AspireKids – Placerville resource for clothing and extracurricular student scholarships for those who cannot afford

M.O.R.E. in Placerville – provides food donations to PUSD when available

Assistance League of Sierra Foothills – Operation School Bell (yearly free clothing shopping for MV/low income students); volunteer yearly

Jammin’Dance and Fitness – Kay Lenhardt provides ZUMBA after school enrichment classes

Big Brothers Big Sisters – visits our students at lunch time; coordinate registration of students

Foothill Taekwondo – provides after school enrichment classes for PUSD students

NAMI El Dorado – mental health family support groups

Boys and Girls Club – after school classes, work with staff to waive fees of MV students

Marshall Foundation – using grant, “Walk to School” Day
